After hearing about the Bald Eagles at the Conowingo Dam in Maryland. My friend and I went for a quick look see. Unfortunately for us the while we were there at the right time the conditions were not great. The dam was letting out a large amount of water and this caused the water to rise on the river. With both the spillways and generators both discharging water the Bald eagles didn’t seem to enthusiastic about feeding. But while the action may not have been as red hot as I was looking for. There was a bright side, lots of down time to meet and talk with the regulars. They were all friendly and willing to share their knowledge about photographing the eagles. Depending on my schedule we hope to go back some time in December for another try. Shot on a #CanonUSa #EOS7Dii with the #EF400mmF5.6 lens.
