One of the things that I was hoping to record was a “blast off” of Snow Geese from one of the ponds here at #BosqueDelApache in #NewMexico. The #SnowGeese congregate in the ponds and sometimes there can be thousands of them in one pond. When we found one such pond we set up our cameras with the longs lens we owned and waited. The geese are usually just resting or feeding and then with out noticeable signal they all just exploded up into the sky. It is an amazing sight to behold never mind photographing it.
