While visiting #YosemiteValley in Yosemite National Park last week I spent the majority of my time photography the natural beauty found there. From Half Dome to El Capitan there is no shortage of awe inspiring locations to photograph. But the park also has other man made sights for you to photograph. The park has several stone bridges that cross the Merced River. This bridge is located near the Lower Pines campground and is called the Stoneman Bridge. If i hadn’t been shown the spot I would have, as so many visitors have, just driven over the bridge and not given a second thought. Finding little treasures like this is one more reason to just slow down when you are visiting a location. Shot using a #CanonUSA #EOS1Dxmkii with a #EF2470 lens while hanging over the some very wet rocks and trying very hard not to fall into the river.
